New Website for the Memorial Signs of Munich

The Coordination Centre for the Memorial Signs in the Munich Cultural Department is pleased to present the new website for the Memorial Signs in Munich. For the present it is a so-called soft launch, in which the website can already be called up under its web address, but cannot yet be found by the general public via search engines.

The website is currently still under construction and will grow more and more over the coming weeks. The homepage provides a brief overview of Munich's Memorial Signs and links to the Map App, which lists all existing memorial signs. The project page provides a wealth of background information on the Memorial Signs and explains the project in detail.

The Biographies section will be continuously updated with the biographies of victims of National Socialism for whom Memorial Signs have already been installed in Munich. In the News section, not only will upcoming events be announced, but past events will also be listed and accessible. Furthermore, it will offer the latest news about the Memorial Signs, such as this message announcing the soft launch of the website. All content on the website will be available not only in German but also in English.

The website is currently still under construction and not all biographies and events are listed yet. We hope to fill in all the gaps soon and have the entire website live for the public, shortly.
